Popster Media is the publishing arm of digital marketing agency Popster Digital.
Aron Gibson is long-time digital publisher and 20+ veteran of the digital/tech industry. He started his publishing career just after college, long before the digital days, as Editor-in-Chief of The Chicago Flame. In 2004 he started publishing a blog to detail the recording of his first album with his power punk band, The Swagger Sticks. The focus quickly turned to coverage of the local music scene in Los Angeles and led to producing showcases with other local artists, which culminated in radio play and gigs at storied LA venues like the Viper Room. After four years of working on the agency side and at venture funded ad tech companies like OpenX, Nami Media (NYSE: LIN) and Ziff Davis parent company j2 Global (NASDAQ: JCOM), Gibson founded Popster Media in July 2014.
